Our Car Care division is looking for responsible automotive repair professionals with at least two years of experience. In this position, you’ll provide diagnostic and major repair services to member vehicles, helping to get AAA members back on the road in a safe and timely manner. As an Automotive Technician, you’ll represent our organization’s commitment to safety and quality. You will:

+ Help AAA Members get back on the road with confidence

+ Service and Maintenance – Provide general vehicle maintenance, tire installation and repairs, fluid maintenance services, and NC state inspections

+ Diagnostics and Repair – Ensure the proper and safe functioning of brake systems, suspension system, cooling system, air conditioning system, starting and charging system, electrical system, fuel system and ignition, and onboard system

+ Wheel Alignment – Understand theory and application

+ Major Repairs – Perform engine, transmission, driveline, and other repairs

+ Contribute to AAA’s trusted reputation

+ Results – Maintain our company standard of productivity

**Qualifications**

**WHO YOU ARE**

**Required qualifications**

+ At least 2 years of automotive repair experience

+ Ability to work flexible work schedules to include Saturdays

+ Willingness to progress within the Automotive Technician career path

+ Possess own tools for use in shop

**Preferred qualifications**

+ 4 ASE certifications preferred

**Legal Background Requirements**

+ No felony convictions within 7 years

+ Must have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

+ This position involves occasional sitting and standing, frequent walking and normal physical mobility, including reaching, grabbing lifting, and carrying typical office equipment, frequent lifting up to 80 pounds in weight

+ Finger and hand dexterity is required for frequent and continuous cleaning

+ Normal or corrected hearing to the level of ability to receive detailed information orally and to accurately understand normal conversations, both in person and on the telephone

+ Ability to process, express and exchange information orally, in writing, presentations and through online applications

+ Mental and emotional ability to work effectively in a busy environment, interacting with people and dealing with difficult situations
