As an integral part of our Cross-Divisional Assortment Strategy Team, the Business Intelligence Analyst Lead is responsible for designing and executing analytical solutions to support a variety of merchandising initiatives. The ideal candidate is a self-starter and strong technical contributor who is always looking for new opportunities to solve business problems with data-driven tools. The individual should be highly curious about the business and possess the skills to unlock rich, nuanced insights from complicated data and communicate those insights in a way that drives positive business outcomes.
**A day in the life…**
+ Partner with key stakeholders to understand business needs, create meaningful reports, and perform ad-hoc analyses
+ Dive deep into complex business problems and provide insights on merch performance by building and enhancing BI tools and performing descriptive analysis
+ Communicate and present findings to stakeholders through visualizations and reports in a clear and meaningful way
+ Provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership and initiative
+ Demonstrate productivity through the efficient use of time and a commitment to strong results
**You own this if you have…**
+ Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
+ 2+ years of experience in extracting & manipulating large data sets from various relational databases using SQL (Amazon Redshift, Oracle, Teradata preferred)
+ Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with data visualization tools and techniques (Tableau preferred)
+ Experience maintaining efficient QA processes to ensure the accuracy and quality of data
+ Ability to efficiently query and derive concise/actionable insights from large volumes of data
+ Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced and dynamic organization both on a team and independently
+ Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
