**Job Description**

The ideal **Digital Merchandiser** in our division is customer obsessed, curious, highly motivated, results oriented and committed to providing outstanding customer service by leading a customer-first product strategy to optimize the digital experience. The Digital Merchandiser should demonstrate an understanding of basic ecommerce principles and retail skills as well as interest in the digital landscape across selling platforms, social and marketing channels to build a competitive advantage. The Digital Merchandiser is responsible for influencing product selection strategies by identifying impactful insights and effectively communicating those learnings, as well as managing product presentation across the site.

**A day in the life…**

+ Drive and manage weekly, monthly and quarterly insights to make customer-informed decisions around pre-season product strategy with our Merchants and in-season changing business needs to assist the Manager Digital Merchandising in driving on-site optimizations

+ Partner with the Ecommerce Merchandiser to identify white-space selection opportunities based on customer behavior data and insights.

+ Utilize merchandising tools to optimize site experience for demand generation.

+ Develop, evolve and execute business processes to support the department including leveraging website analytics to understand performance and customer interaction with categories, product placements and general online shopping experiences to help identify business opportunities and risks

+ Ensure optimal category and product merchandising in partnership with the Online Product Display team to reflect customer behavior and product priorities.

+ Partner with customer behavior digital merchandising team to help execute product testing strategies.

**You own this if you have…**

+ Bachelor’s degree required

+ Minimum 3 years management experience in retail and/or online merchandising. E-commerce experience strongly preferred

+ Ability to build strong relationships and credibility with peers and senior leadership

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Proficiency in MS Office suite, especially excel preferred.

+ Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills including public speaking
