The Legal Operations Business Analyst 2 provides a broad range of support to the Legal and Risk Management functions at Nordstrom. The ideal candidate has experience working in a dynamic environment and supporting a wide range of analytics and operation-based needs.
**A day in the life…**
+ Partner with Legal Operations leadership to define success and develop measurement framework
+ Lead collaboration with team members and leaders to deliver high quality insights, solutions and recommendations to a variety of complex problems across the Legal team
+ Reconcile divergent demands from multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced work environment
+ Build, manage, evaluate, and evolve a suite of reports through Power BI and Business Objects, and other self-service tools for our key stakeholders
+ Partner with Legal team members to understand their analytics needs and look for opportunities to enhance our product offering
+ Provide exceptional customer service through professionalism, ownership and initiative
+ Receive and respond to internal and external inquiries and handle communications in a professional customer service focused manner
+ Demonstrate project coordination skills through organization and communication
+ Support change management across Legal team related to technology and process improvement

+ 3+ years of professional experience analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
+ Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced and dynamic organization
+ Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
+ Ability to think strategically and assess key stakeholder requests
+ Experience taking large volumes of data and condensing it into a clean, insightful, and automated format
+ Strong computer skills with working proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
+ High level of personal integrity and confidentiality
+ Ability to apply analytics skills towards complex process and strategy work
