**What you will do:**

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities:**

Works with loan originators and underwriters to process consumer loans and support back office processing. Interacts with customers and dealers to obtain necessary information. Responds to customer inquiries and provide high quality customer service. Ensures all processes have been followed and all appropriate documentation is present in the file for the completion of loan. Authorizes checks/payments within approved authority. Performs insurance and lien perfection follow-up and other job duties as assigned. Escalate complex processing, issues and/or check authorizations to higher level staff or Supervisor.

Assists management in identifying potential improvements to loan processing workflow and makes recommendations for changes to front end processing systems to ensure maximized efficiency. Provides input into processing procedures and ensures identified areas of quality service are in compliance with corporate customer satisfaction standards.

May participate on special projects when needed. Maintain ongoing knowledge of industry practices related to consumer loan processing and servicing.

**Qualifications**

This is a hybrid position reporting to our Dearborn office once or twice a week.

**Required Qualifications:**

Education:

+ High School Diploma of equivalent

Experience:

+ Working in a team environment

+ Consumer loan processing and documentation

+ Loan file creation and maintenance

+ General Ledger entries and balancing

+ Loading of all loan records

+ Lien perfection functions

+ Work flow monitoring

+ Tracking additional file documentation and follow-up

Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of:

+ Consumer loan products and servicing

+ FCRA, ECOA and other federal/state regulations regarding the extension of credit

Ability to:

+ Provide input for application processing procedures

+ Perform loan upload process and audit for accuracy

+ Multitask on processing including gathering documentation from a variety of sources

+ Demonstrate interpersonal communication and positive attitudes within work environment

+ Self-motivated and able to work autonomously

+ Investigative, analyze and resolve problems

+ Provide high quality customer service

+ Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

+ Communicate effectively with senior leaders, peers and internal and external business partners
