**Job Description**

We are looking for a **Manager, Strategic Programs** to join our Strategic Operations team within Nordstrom’s Digital Operations organization. The focus of this role is to support and develop a team of Program Managers that successfully build and execute strategies that improve business outcomes across Nordstrom’s Full Price and Off Price digital brands. This role will partner closely with Product Management, UX, Technology, Supply Chain, Merchandising, and Digital Operations leaders to remove barriers, move with speed, and get work done. This position reports to the Director, Digital Operations – Strategic Operations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

+ **Develop and drive the program vision and strategy:** Create and clearly communicate the vision and plan for the strategic program portfolio, including definition of goals, success metrics, and business stakeholders

+ **Build a high-performing team:** lead and develop a team of customer-obsessed Program Managers

+ **Manage program deliverables and report progress:** Lead the ongoing management of the holistic program roadmap and build the business rhythms and reporting required to achieve program goals

+ **Facilitate decision making:** Bring forward decisions for leadership, ensuring that options are clearly outlined with necessary information and strategic implications

+ **Partner, collaborate, and influence:** Partner with cross-functional leaders across the business to clear roadblocks and prioritize initiatives that will deliver program outcomes

+ **Expand and deepen program capabilities:** Identify white space within the program portfolio and deliver program capabilities to additional Nordstrom brands

The ideal candidate is a strong advocate for the customer, is relentlessly curious, and has a strong sense of accountability and ownership. They are passionate about building and developing teams, they embrace change and flex to changing business expectations, and their leadership style is adept at building and managing relationships.

**Qualifications** **:**

+ Bachelor’s degree required

+ Strong business acumen with exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and program management skills

+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell data-driven stories and lead, facilitate, and present to large groups

+ Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, influence prioritization, and collaborate at all organizational levels

+ Ability to build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Program Managers

+ Track record of thought leadership and collaborative problem solving of complex business issues

+ Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
