**Job Description**

The Manager of Program Management will be responsible for day-to-day management of the Program Managers supporting the Developer Quality team.The Developer Quality team runs and maintains the processes responsible for defining and maintain what good looks like for Nordstrom Technology.

Through broad industry and practice knowledge and hands-on technical management experience, the Manager guides a team of professionals to execute strategy and tactics that deliver desired results.

**You are responsible for…**

+ Developing and fostering a healthy and collaborative culture for your team that embodies both industry best practices and Nordstrom values

+ Growing and developing an incredible team of talented and motivated program managers with high expectations around individual ownership and impact

+ Driving the roadmap and technical vision for the team, collaborate with product groups and partner teams to deliver value to our customers

+ Influencing key decisions on processes that are central to Nordstrom’s success

+ Being a bar raiser, pushing the limits on how solutions are designed, how processes are maintained, and how we support the entire Nordstrom technology organization

+ Ensure team has the tools, resources, and information they need to be successful

+ Hire capable and motivated talent/teams that can deliver swiftly and predictably, adjusting in an agile fashion to deliver solutions aligned with business needs

+ Employ continuous improvement methodologies across own team (e.g. quantifies impacts customer first, waste elimination, increased productivity, iterates quickly, shorten feedback loop, experience creating relevant KPIs)

**You own this if you have…**

+ 5+ years of relevant work experience

+ A BA/BS in Computer Science or closely related degree or equivalent practical experience

+ 2+ years leading teams (preferred)

+ Demonstrable experience owning and operating business critical processes servicing internal customers

+ Profound care for your people and the desire to help those who want to help themselves

+ Pragmatism. You can prioritize, simplify, and make a path toward results.

+ Proactive mindset. You seek the best solution for the company and customer and take action without being directed
