**Senior Business Manager, Data Science & Analytics**

Nordstrom is looking for a **Business Manager in Data Science and Analytics** . You will be working to realize the organization’s strategic vision, ensuring sure the team is aligned in its priorities, is working effectively with key stakeholders, and is positioned to succeed. You will have broad influence throughout the Data Science and Analytics team and the broader enterprise, particularly with Technology partners. Your work will drive change in the short, medium, and long-term, creating a world-class capability that is ready to deliver on the future needs of the business.
**A day in the life….**
As a key leader on the team, this role will be the critical link in creating and driving a culture of world-class excellence – a culture of winning.
+ Establish and refine the rhythm of the business within Data Science and Analytics and how the team interfaces with the rest of the organization. This ranges from leading annual planning and budgeting, running monthly business reviews, to establishing the employee communication cadence.
+ Create a great employee experience focused on every area of the employee lifecycle from hiring to growth and development.
+ Ensure the overall team’s productivity, diagnosing systemic issues, unblocking key projects, and initiating efforts to instill a culture of excellence around data, such as with Data Governance, for example.
**You own this if you have…**
+ 10+ years of related experience (e.g., project management, business process improvement, financial planning).
+ demonstrated success formulating strategy and guiding implementation.
+ successfully driven complex multi-stakeholder processes and cross-team programs to desired results while managing risk. _Experience leading remotely is a plus_
+ strong verbal and written communications skills for a large, multi-discipline organization.
+ proven ability to build strong partnerships, influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
+ a bachelor’s degree.
+ Enthusiasm for solving complex problems with a natural tendency towards open mindedness and flexibility.
+ Fun working in a fast-paced environment and managing through ambiguity.
