**Job Description**

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual with corporate finance and/or treasury/ cash management experience to join the Nordstrom’s Treasury team. The job would include performing daily cash desk procedures, cash positioning, cash flow forecasting and other ad hoc projects related to strategic decision making and automation within treasury. The ideal candidate will have strong financial/analytical skills and be results driven with great project management skills.

**A day in the life…**

+ Perform the daily cash procedures, including projecting the net cash position after all inflows and outflows, planning for borrowing and investment activities, initiating all bank wire and ACH transactions, maintaining the treasury workstation, and compiling the necessary control and audit-trail documentation, while ensuring policy compliance

+ Prepare cash flow forecasts and treasury analytics that add value, deliver a clear message, and inspire action

+ Perform full cycle cash management including daily cash positioning, administering bank systems (i.e. online banking access and management), business continuity planning and record retention

+ Develop financial models and related analytical tools to address business needs

+ Work on automation of different treasury processes using inhouse tools/software systems or by building own platforms as needed

+ Identify and present trends and opportunities to support management decisions

+ Create materials to communicate strategic priorities and findings to senior management

+ Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned

**You own this if you have…**

+ BA/BS Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA, CTP or comparable experience preferred

+ Minimum of 3 – 5 years demonstrated work experience in Corporate Finance and/or Treasury

+ Proven analytical skills and experience in financial modeling and reporting

+ Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines

+ Proficiency in database systems, Kyriba, Hyperion-Essbase and Cognos a plus

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, and computer skills including Excel (integrating formulas and functions in financial models), and PowerPoint

+ Commitment to data integrity and accuracy

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to develop processes and deliver quality output from general direction
