**ServiceNow CMDB Engineer 1**
Nordstrom’s Discovery Team is hiring! Supporting the CMDB is not only our job, but our passion. Our search is on for a dedicated engineer who breathes relational data, loves bringing order to chaos, and delights in enabling ITSM in all its forms.
**A day in the life…**
This position will focus on all aspects of ServiceNow CMDB management, including: data maintenance, process development and support, data source review, integration development, reporting, ITSM workflow development, and documentation. This role will also involve recurring assessment of business value, with an emphasis on delivering CMDB initiatives that unlock the biggest business benefit.
This Engineer will be a part of a DevOps team that is agile and collaborative, working together to develop, maintain, and document technical solutions. We are very serious about our work, but we also know how to have fun while engaged in this crucial service. Slip a little CMDB or ITIL humor into your resume to catch our attention.

**You own this if you have…**
+ Experience in Configuration Management development, CI Discovery, and CMDB integrations with specific focus on ServiceNow CMDB (2+ years)
+ Familiarity with ServiceNow Glide system for ServiceNow development (1+ years)
+ Business analytics experience in audit, finance, procurement, lifecycle, or other disciplines focused on data quality and freshness (1+ years)
+ Strong familiarity with relational database concepts
+ Hands-on experience in troubleshooting ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and ITAM database structures, data management, and process enhancement
+ Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals
+ Experience with Flexera FlexNet Manager a strong plus
+ Familiarity with SNMP, SSH, and WMI based discovery and authentication
