**Job Description**

The Developer Portal Team is tasked with creating tools that enable developers to discover applications and find solutions to common development problems. At the heart of our strategy is the design, development, and deployment of software systems and services that enable developers to be most effective.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Produce well designed and testable code using industry best practices

+ Lead the planning, forecasting and execution efforts for new project deliverables

+ Ensure quality and availability of software systems by applying best practices for monitoring and alerting best practices

+ Provide mentoring and support to junior engineers on their journey to level-up

+ Cross collaborate with other teams and stake-holders to ensure alignment of team objectives and offerings

+ Additional duties, responsibilities and qualifications as assigned

**Key applicant requirements**

+ 5+ years of web development experience using front-end frameworks (Node.JS, React)

+ Mastery in front-end coding technologies (Javascript, CSS, HTML)

+ Mastery in front-end frameworks (NodeJS, React)

+ Experience building and deploying software systems in cloud-based technologies (AWS & GCP)

+ Experience with search engine and analytic technologies (Elasticsearch)

+ Experience with web security / auth (OAuth)

+ Experience with designing and building APIs

**Preferred qualifications**

+ Experience with Python and data gathering systems (Scrapy)

+ Experience with database technologies (Postgres/MySql)

+ Familiarity with web design collaboration tools (Zeplin)

+ Familiarity with UX design and related concepts
