**Job Description:**

The Merchandise and Inventory Supervisor executes strategic plans in merchandising, inventory, and asset protection. This role also leads and mentors a small team to confirm accurate record keeping, storage, and shipment of products are handled while fostering a strong asset protection culture throughout the store. Other duties include assisting in the hiring selection process, performance management, training, and holding special events while keeping team communication strong.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Helps drive a positive customer experience by building relationships, exhibiting empathy, and providing solutions to their needs.

+ Ensures accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of product to and from store along with all aspects of building maintenance.

+ Ensures inventory employees are prepared for truck arrival. loading and unloading procedures, accurately recording and safely handling merchandise, processing all product paperwork, home deliveries, and send backs.

+ Ensures damage claims are all executed according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

+ Maintains visual merchandising standards by ensuring that merchandise is displayed according to planograms and that functionality checks have been completed.

+ Ensures proper training of new employees. This includes assessing skills and knowledge of each team member, tailoring training to specific needs of the learner, and creating individual learning and development plans to ensure that each employee is able to contribute fully.

**Basic Qualifications**

+ High school diploma

+ One year of experience in leadership

+ One year of experience in sales, customer service, operations, warehouse, inventory or related fields

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ One year of retail or consumer electronic experience

+ Associate Degree in Business or related field
