**A Day in the Life…**
+ Manage Nordstrom’s Market Strategy Carriers.
+ Work with Cross Functional teams to manage day to day carrier operations.
+ Identify, document and propose cost reductions through analysis of current spend, shipment profile and a detailed understanding of logistics provider pricing and methodology
+ Creation and review of quarterly carrier scorecards.
+ Provide fiscal savings reports outlining savings tracking for implemented projects.
+ Work with Corporate Logistics groups to create and maintain reporting that suitably measures key business components including:
+ Freight cost by lane.
+ Transit time’s by lane.

**You own this if you have…**
+ **E** xperience working with Full Truck Load/Intermodal Carriers preferred.
+ Experience working with LTL carriers preferred.
+ Experience working with Transportation management system preferred.
+ Excellent Communication Skills (i.e., written, verbal)
+ Comfortable in a fast pace collaborative work environment.
+ College Degree in Supply Chain/Transportation
+ -/+5 years’ work experience in a transportation/supply chain environment
+ Advanced Excel skills including pivot table creation/use, and an ability to manipulate large quantities of data.
+ PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office applications.
