**What does a Geek Squad Repair Agent do?**

Geek Squad Repair Agents will perform high quality repairs on consumer electronics and appliances by addressing all unit symptoms and replacing and/or repairing defective parts, as necessary. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a strong ability to follow both written and verbal instructions as well as have an attention to detail. Geek Squad Repair Agents must be able to properly communicate effectively and educate both internal and external clients and co-workers.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Diagnosing/troubleshooting issues with consumer electronics

+ Ordering parts, performing repairs, and quality testing of products

+ Assists customers with service/repair issues, discusses products with customers to determine product problems and service requirements.

+ Answers questions regarding product installation and operations.

**What are the Professional Requirements of a Geek Squad Repair Agent?**

Basic Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

+ 2-year degree in Computer/Electronics/Mechanical related field

+ 6 months experience diagnosing and repairing consumer electronics and/or appliances
