+ This job is a member of the Regional Carriers Tech Ops Technology Team within Corporate Technology in the Information Technology Division

+ Responsible for creating an environment where Agile software development team(s) can deliver platform application solutions on time, with high quality, and that meet customer expectations utilizing Agile methodologies. **What you’ll do**

+ Collaborates with Business and IT leadership to determine and communicate organization vision, direction, and work priorities, and drives progress towards technology target roadmaps

+ Ensures that sound agile project management, business analysis, and quality assurance processes are in place and practiced

+ Evaluates 3rd party software solutions for fit to business requirements and strategic vision

+ Leads in technical solution design, ensuring the technical solution satisfies the business objectives

+ Manages all activities leading to the successful implementation of a new application, whether internally developed or purchased from a software provider

+ Creates environment for delivery teams to be self-governing organizations who are accountable for their own performance and delivery commitments

+ Exhibits a desire for continuous learning and sharing of new knowledge within the organization

+ Removes roadblocks, cultivates relationships, and effectively communicates across Enterprise at various levels of leadership

+ Manages and tracks project/program schedules and budgets with controller(s), as appropriate; specifically, responsible for the team’s monitoring and analyzing of project expenditure and financial reporting

+ Manages and leads adoption and migration of new and emerging technologies

+ Leads, develops, and mentors a high performing team of individuals with a diverse range of skills and experiences; uses goals and metrics to help measure performance by providing development opportunities

+ Maintains an effective approach on problem solving, multi-tasking, coordinating and scheduling

+ Leads, influences, and upholds technology standards and goals to ensure visibility and predictability

+ Manages production issues and off-hours support, communication, and coordination, as needed

+ Works extended hours occasionally, based on the needs of the project and the operation

+ Travels, as required

**All you’ll need for success**

**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Information Systems, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training

+ 5 years of hands-on experience managing large scale IT software development project(s) using Agile development methodology

+ 3 years of experience leading projects or teams, either formally or informally

+ 3 years of experience managing and interfacing with external software providers

**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**

+ Airline industry experience, including business process and supporting technology

+ Possessing a working understanding of Aircraft Maintenance. Supply Chain and Content Management Systems (Maintenix. Oracle EBS, Trax, Orlando, Comply365, etc.)

**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**

+ Experience in managing and delivering on programs impacting multiple verticals

+ Experience working with Agile project management methodologies and tools

+ Proven ability to handle multiple projects/work streams and demands efficiently

+ Experience in leading a team of individuals with various skill levels in accomplishing goals

+ Demonstrated ability to build, train, mentor and coach a team

+ Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with business partners, technical teams and all levels of management

+ Demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments

+ Ability to thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment and leverage best practices

+ Working knowledge and experience in a technical environment

+ Experience managing financial budgets a plus
