+ ​This job is a member of the Technical Operations Team within the Integrated Operations Division.

+ ​Responsible for leading several groups in all aspects of the set up and monitoring of aircraft maintenance records and configuration in source systems. Also, leads, coaches, and develops all employees to excel in achieving key goals and encourage quality and productivity while ensuring compliance with all company rules and regulations.

+ Plays a key role in successful collaboration with all groups within and outside the Integrated Operations organization.

**What you’ll do**

+ Oversees the administration and professional development of team members, including employee administration

+ Responsible for a continuous improvement program for Aircraft Configuration Management and works cross departmentally to resolve process flow issues

+ Establishes the strategic direction for the organization and manages the methods to achieve it

+ Manages the budget established for the group

+ Acts as a culture leader who builds trust across the organization

+ Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of the maintenance of records in the SCEPTRE system

+ Evaluates and forecasts financial/staffing needs to meet the infrastructure needs and objectives of Aircraft Configuration Management.

+ Develops and maintains internal department self-audit programs

+ Establishes KPI’s (Key Process Indicators) to measure and improve performance

+ Ensures that training programs and standards are established and administered for each group within area of responsibility.

**All you’ll need for success**

**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or related area or similar discipline and **/** or a total of 7 years aviation experience in the Aircraft Maintenance field as it relates to Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Engineering, or Records

+ 5 years supervisory experience

**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**

+ Master’s Degree in Technical or Business discipline

+ 7 years of experience in leadership role

+ 3 years of experience with project management activities

+ Experience leading an organization in multiple locations

+ Thorough understanding of AA Policies and Procedures

+ Experience managing budgets

+ Computer knowledge of STC, SAP and SCEPTRE

+ Yellow Belt or higher in Lean/Six Sigma principles from an accredited organization

+ Basic understanding of computer system functions, architecture and attributes

**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**

+ ​Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles

+ Understanding of project management techniques

+ Strong planning, delegating and organizational skills as well as analytical and problem solving skills with a high level of attention to detail

+ Ability to multi-task while adjusting to rapidly changing priorities

+ Innovative and technical individual, with exceptional business judgment, as well as the initiative and competence to make a significant contribution to the AA organization

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office software to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

+ Excellent leadership skills and interpersonal skills

+ Working knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
