+ As a senior technical leader within the Emerging Technology Department, you will combine your years of expertise to innovate and transform through solid engineering practices.

+ Your deep knowledge of Emerging Technologies and Cloud native application design will be key to business innovation and technology transformation.

**What you’ll do**

+ Discover & create pivotal and moonshot solutions that advances the company and industry forward.

+ Explore emerging technologies (i.e., Big Data, AI/ML, Blockchain, Digital Twins, etc.) and develop prototypes and concepts/ideas with little or no guidance while incorporating these into architectural solutions culminating in working software.

+ Partner with a highly inspired and inquisitive team of technologists, as well as their business subject matter experts, who are already developing and deploying applications to the highest standards.

+ Leverage your hands-on experience to lead developers/engineers in producing code that leads to innovative valuable outcomes and accelerates technical culture development.

**All you’ll need for success**

**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**

+ Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or equivalent experience

+ 8 years of application systems development experience

+ 5 years software architectural and design experience

**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**

+ Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline

+ 5 years of technical or team leadership experience

+ 2+ years’ Cloud architecture or development experiences in Azure, IBM Cloud , Or Cloud

+ 2+ years’ experience in Agile methodology

+ 2+ years’ experience in DevOps deployment processes

**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**

+ Background in Enterprise/Solutions Architecture or software engineering

+ Command of application architecture, design patterns and business processes

+ Strong knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices

+ Mastery of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines

+ Experience in working in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals and passionate about building an innovative culture

+ Strong technical leader able to drive to outcomes and mentor delivery teams

+ Hands-on experience with programming & scripting languages and frameworks such as Java, C++, JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, React, Angular, etc.

+ Hands-on experience code repositories such as Azure ADO and GitHub platform

+ Hands-on experience leveraging Containers as a Service (CaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) tools and platforms

+ Expertise in one or more cloud native relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL

+ Expertise in one or more NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and/or Cassandra

+ High aptitude with the ability to quickly learn what you don’t know

+ Ability to drive valuable technical outcomes via outside the box thinking
