This job is within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for planning, scoping and delivering technical software implementations, upgrades and enhancements. Includes system setup, feature configuration, testing and implementation requirements for assigned projects, including database requirements, connectivity, automation and system-driven operational processes. Often involves collaboration with vendor and internal IT support, network, server admin, DBA and other resources.

**What you’ll do**

+ Partner with Business Technology Analysts and other teams to design and document current and future state user experiences, workflow, network, data flow and other technical or process documentation, as needed

+ Identify, complete or coordinate the technical implementation work for projects/enhancements, including system configuration, application parameter setup, workflow processes, building the database, data quality validation, report design and creation, form/document creation, queries to scope technical needs (e.g., network bandwidth requirements), developing and scheduling batch jobs/reports, user permissions, etc.

+ Interface with Application Development, Information Security, Testing & QA, BCP, other internal IT departments and third-party partners/vendors as need for project/product development, testing, BCP/disaster recovery planning, network connectivity, hardware specification, procurement, and installation

+ Configure and loads application(s) on test and production servers

+ Develop detailed technical and instructional documentation for ongoing transitional support by Service Desk and Application Support teams

+ Perform other duties, as assigned

+ The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

**Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**

+ Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or three years of similar technical analysis and support-related work experience

**Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience**

+ Experience in the financial services industry and Credit Union’s departments, products and systems

+ Knowledge and hands-on work in several of the following areas: Episys and Jack Henry financial applications, AIX, PowerOn programming, SymXchange integration, API integration, SOAP, XML, Java, HTML, Visual Basic, .Net, web services, payments systems setup and administration (ACH/wires/credit cards, etc.), RPA technology (UiPath, Blue Prism, etc.), Adobe products, SQL/Oracle, Microsoft SharePoint administration, general Microsoft Server configuration and support, working in VMware/SAN/public and private cloud and Citrix environments

+ Experience with technical writing, document creation and management

+ Process improvement certification or related work experience

+ Agile Methodology certification or related work experience

+ Other IT services certification of similar related work experience

**Skills, Licenses & Certifications**

+ ​Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software

+ Experience with software application implementation, support and administration, programming/database fundamentals, systems integration and automation design

+ Knowledge of Episys financial services applications, programming, networking, web services, SAN and server virtualization

+ Experience performing production change management and being an advocate for change

+ Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a hybrid in-office/remote work environment

+ Ability to demonstrate excellent interpersonal, presentation and oral and written communications skills

+ Ability to successfully plan and implement small- to medium-sized systems projects that are delivered on-time and within budget

+ Ability to work with third-party partners/vendors to successfully accomplish goals

+ Ability to demonstrate excellent task management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

+ Ability to create and manage technical system, product and workflow/process documentation

+ Ability to exercise strong analytical and decision making skills that focus on delivering results and value for the Credit Union

+ Must pass applicable American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
